I started this blog last year , I was planning to do in depth studies of the herbs and write about them , but with keeping the grands , the garden and daily household chores , it all became to much , so I closed it , until I could give it more time.
As I was taking pics of some herbs the other day , I got to thinking , it would be great to post them so others could help me identify them or we could learn about them. I decided to open this blog again , so I hope you'll join me as I take my Herb walks and we can learn together.

Did you ever find out
if this plant was edible?
I put up pics on my blog
of what I thought was the
Lambsquarter. But I do not
think it is. There is no
powder forming only a ooze
of milky substance coming
out of it.
This time I opened comments

and the think the leaf is slimmer.
I think the one I thought was
Lambsquarter is more wider.

Flassie , I did some research on Cat's Ears , they're in the dandelion family and are edible.
Your plant sounds like it might be the Jerusalem Oak that was mentioned in my guide. Does it smell like varnish or turpentine?

I do have much of a smell right
now. I haven't had allergies till
this year. So been stuffy.
When I can smell I'll check
for turpentine scent.
