    The ones you posted and the
    ones I took photos of are do
    not have the same shape.

    I'll have to see what color
    the berries are when they ripen.
    I think there is another color
    elderberry that is poisonous
    too at the link I put in your
    blog comments.

    Need to read up on it more.

  2. Flassie ~ I left a comment about Elderberry on the other post about Elderberry , guess I should have left it here.
    Both types of Elderberry have toxins/poisons , as most herbs do. Only the flowers and berries are edible on the Common Elderberry , but you need to remove the seeds from it's berry.
